Selinsgrove - Butterfly Suncatcher Workshop

Join SCK Glassworks at Mel & Monty in Selinsgrove, PA on Thursday, May 29 at 6:30 for a creative and fun-filled workshop where you'll design your very own fused glass butterfly ornament! In this hands-on session, participants will work with fusible glass pieces to create a beautiful suncatcher decoration.

Each participant will begin with a clear base butterfly roughly 4" by 4" and use a variety of glass pieces to decorate and personalize their butterfly. Skye from SCK Glassworks will guide you through the process, offering tips on creating visually striking patterns and ensuring your design will fuse beautifully in the kiln. The workshop is beginner-friendly, so no previous glassworking experience is required—just bring your creativity and enthusiasm!

Once completed, your butterfly will be fired in the kiln, and you'll be able to pick it up at Mel and Monty within 1 week. This workshop is a perfect opportunity to unwind, express your artistic side, and create a unique piece of art to brighten your home or give as a thoughtful gift.

The class is $35 per person. Supplies needed for the workshop will be provided. Feel free to bring your favorite beverage.
